Cleared a storm-battered block near Pensacola Bay Center
The Challenge
After a hard rain pushed limbs, shingles, and broken fence panels into a downtown lot near the Pensacola Bay Center, the place looked cluttered and unsafe. I remember the smell of wet pine and asphalt sitting in the morning heat while foot traffic kept cutting past the mess. Our crew had to work around tight curb access, parked cars, and event-day pressure because a blocked lot there doesn’t just look bad — it slows everything down and raises the risk of somebody getting hurt.
The Result
We rolled in with a compact trailer setup, sorted the debris by hand, and loaded the heavier sections first so we wouldn’t leave sharp scraps behind. I used the skid-resistant ramp edge and extra tarps to keep loose material from blowing back into the street while the crew swept the corners clean. We handle the mess, you rebuild. By the end, the lot opened back up clean and safe, and the property owner could get back to normal traffic without tripping over storm debris.
Javier and his crew cleared our downtown lot fast, and I could finally reopen it without worrying about broken debris.
